Location: Pilanesberg, North West

Salary: Negotiable, depending on experience

    AA Candidate only. Must have at least 5 years experience in a 5 star lodge or hotel. At least 8 years in total in F & B. Experience on POS systems (Apex, Micros, etc.)

    Duties include:

    - Calculating cost of sale

    - Admin duties

    - Stock control

    - Staff management

    3 weeks on and 1 week off



Restaurant General Managers x 2


Location: Johannesburg North and Pretoria, Gauteng

Salary: R15 000 - R25 0000

    MINIMUM 5+ years experience as a Restaurant Manager in an upmarket establishment.(5* experience is highly recommended) Excellent leadership skills and the ability to motivate and train team members. Passion for delivering impeccable levels of guest service. Ability to work under pressure. Professional in communication and demeanor. Degree in relevant area is preferred but not required. Proficient in Microsoft Office and Micros. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

    Duties include:

    - Opening and closing of the restaurant

    - Managing all interactions with guests and staff

    - Maintaining quality excellent and top service in a high pressure environment

    - Ensuring proper management of stock

    - Assist with the recruitment, training and development of team members

    - Set departmental targets and objectives, work schedules, policies and procedures

    - Achieve company objectives in sales, service, quality, appearance of facility and sanitation

    - Create a positive and productive work environment

    - Comply with regulations, health, fire and safety legislation

    - Ensuring strong communication and host team member meetings on a regular basis

    - Evaluate guest service levels with a focus on continuous improvement

    - Complete management of the restaurant


Junior Sommelier


Location: Gansbaai, Western Cape

Salary: Negotiable, Live out

    The successful candidate must have completed some form of formal qualification (whether it be through WSET or SWA) as well as some experience in a similar role.


    - Working closely with the Sommelier in implementing strategies of the wine programme

    - Working with International guests

    - Providing specialised service to the lodges in terms of wine presentation and service

    - Wine service during meal times

    - Hosting of guests for wine tours, food & wine pairing menus and tutored tasting

    - General admin work regarding wine stock purchases and cellar management

    - Monthly stock take and store room management

    - Maintenance and appearance of wine cellar and display rooms

    - Wine and beverage training with Front of House staff

    - Assist with F & B service for large functions / weddings and therefore a basic knowledge of other alcoholic drinks and cocktails will be an advantage




Restaurant Manager


Location: Polokwane, Limpopo

Salary: R8 000 - R15 000 live out

    Matric. Formal hospitality degree or diploma. Minimum 3 years experience in a management position in a restaurant. Polite, friendly candidate with a strong personality and the ability to think on their feet. Well spoken and presented. Computer literate. Micros system experience essential.

    - Assisting with queries and complaints

    - Managing the entire service operation of the restaurant

    - Creating and maintaining relationships with guests in the restaurant

    - Daily meetings and handovers with staff

    - Staff rostering

    - Maintaining and achieving restaurant targets

    - Doing monthly stock takes

    - Training, motivating and managing all restaurant staff



Barista / Barman


Location: Kruger National Park

Salary: Negotiable, Live out

    Minimum of 2 years experience in barman/barista role. Experience in 5* property essential. Excellent communication skills. Knowledge of wines, cocktails and other beverages. An understanding of the etiquette involved in hosting guests of different cultures. Knowledgeable of food preparation and terminology. Good English reading, writing and speaking ability.


    - Serving of beverages to guests

    - Carrying out assigned tasks

    - Correctly using equipment

    - Hosting / guest interaction

    6 weeks on and 2 weeks off
